Big Cell’s “Money Talks” is a soul-rattling wake-up call wrapped in groove
Hailing from the creative heart of the Midlands, Big Cell is back with an exciting new single, "Money Talks" This track offers a funky perspective on how money can impact our spirits in both positive and negative ways. With their unique blend of fresh songwriting and meaningful lyrics, the band continues to assert itself as one of the most critical voices in modern punk music and is poised to achieve even greater success in its career.
"Money Talks" conveys a lively energy that hints at deeper issues beneath the surface. The production strikes a polished note, mirroring the track's theme. While money can promise power, it can also twist and complicate our lives over time. You can sense the band wrestling with their feelings about this topic in every note they play. What truly sets Big Cell apart is its honest approach. The lyrics of "Money Talks" don't preach, instead, they tell a story. There's no judgment here, just an observation of how money affects our lives. The song reminds us that while money can bring temptation, it doesn't come with a guide on how to handle it, and even the strongest among us can find it challenging.
With the belief that all people are one, Big Cell uses "Money Talks" to explore a shared dilemma. It's not just about critiquing the rich or praising the poor, it's about understanding how we allow money to shape our sense of self-worth.

BiGCELL – Money Talks (Classic Rock)
BiG CELL continues to bet on classic rock with lyrics that touch real fibers. Their new single Money Talks maintains that timeless vibe, with well-crafted riffs and vocal execution that shines brightly. The band is clear about their message and launches it with a solid sound and without unnecessary embellishments.
Money Talks
In Money Talks, BiG CELL reflects on how money changes people, even if they say otherwise. From the first verse "Money talks but it won't talk to me", a firm, almost defiant stance against the seduction of economic power is raised.
Phrases like "Go on and bring it to me, it'll never change me, won't rearrange me" make it clear that the song is a statement. It made me think about how easy it is to get lost in ambition. But here is a call to maintain integrity, even if the bill knocks on the door.
The music of BiG CELL
The sound is pure rock: vibrant guitars, firm drums and a melodic voice with character. Production keeps everything organic, without overprocessing anything. The song has that contagious energy that makes you move your foot from the first hit. And while the pace isn't frenetic, it grabs you with its constant force. I thought it was a well-balanced song: classic, yes, but with intention and care in each part.
Listen and follow their journey
BiG CELL reminds us that rock is still alive when it is made with soul. Money Talks is not only heard, it is also felt. Follow them on their social networks, and as always, here I will continue to share music that shakes your senses.
BiG CELL returns with Money Talks, a classic rock anthem about the corrupting influence of money. The song critiques how wealth alters people, even when they claim it won't.
The lyrics are straightforward and powerful. Lines like "Go on and bring it to me, it'll never change me" emphasize resistance to greed. It's a personal and defiant take on the temptations of power. Musically, the track features vibrant guitars, melodic vocals, and a steady, engaging rhythm. The production feels raw and organic—perfect for the song's rebellious spirit.
Money Talks is a reminder that good rock doesn't need to be flashy. It just needs to be real. And BiG CELL delivers exactly that.

Power won't defeat me
Money Talks, a song that talks about how money and power can corrupt human beings, but there are people who still believe that they cannot be corrupted by that great enemy we have, which unleashes all the demons such as pride, corruption and perversity that can awaken in people. I love that this song approaches the subject in a delicate way with its musical composition, with its soft sounds. That guitar solo that brings us calm at 02:15 makes us understand that person who says: "Power is not going to corrupt me, it is not going to change me". One of my favorite lines from the song is: "Heard about the power and the glory and all the lies that it can bring." This line in the song tells us a lot about the subject matter it addresses. I think Big Cell brings us a daring and revolutionary proposal with a good instrumental composition that makes a perfect match with the lyrics, making a proposal that contrasts with each other; I consider it very assertive.
Money Talks is a song that imposes and makes us reflect on what we are often afraid of.

I listened to your new song and it’s my favourite so far, incredible!!
The Bass is so distinctive and there’s some fancy finger-work going on there! I love the instrumental in the middle with the guitar solo and the way you end the song with the Bass, awesome.
Well done, it’s a belter
