In the 1970's/1980's, Birmingham's vibrant music scene was a hotbed of creative styles and emerging Artists ... and the four musicians that make up BiG CELL were part of that community. First coming together in the early 1980's, Dave, Andy, Rob and Mark formed an originals Band with a distinctive and exciting sound that remains today. By carefully blending their individual musical styles together, their songs captured the imagination of the local music scene and they quickly became regular performers across various venues. Unfortunately, in 1986, various life events resulted in the four members drifting apart, with each continuing their separate musical journey's in various different guises. A chance meeting in late 2022 led to a Band reunion jam and it was immediately obvious that their musical cohesion and shared passion still burned brightly ... so, in 2023, BiG CELL was established so that the four musicians can continue their musical adventures together. Initially, BiG CELL's focus has been to revisit and further develop a number of their original songs because, despite being written some time ago, the themes and messages remain relevant in today's society. In addition, BiG CELL have secured a recording contract, released a number of their original songs and have delivered live performances to positive acclaim. Looking forward, BiG CELL will continue with their songwriting, live performances and song releases so that their music is accessible to their fans and to a wider audience at a local, and national level.
